About Us:
We are a vibrant and dynamic nursery located in Hove. Our large setting caters to a diverse group of children, providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for their growth and development. The nursery is open all year round, operating 51 weeks of the year. The nursery provides a warm environment for the staff and children, giving them the best experience to thrive and grow. The nursery enjoy implementing creativity within their curriculum and provide stimulating activities for the children including dance, music, art, languages, sports and yoga. They have a large outdoor area which they utilise all year round and encourage children to use. The nursery draws inspiration from Reggio Emilia and Montessori approaches and allows children to lead their own learning.
Role Overview:
As the Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a large nursery. Your leadership skills and passion for early years education will drive excellence in care and learning outcomes for our children. We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join an amazing team. The ideal candidate will lead outstanding early years practice, have excellent communication, lead and support team development intiatives and have a proven track record of delivering excellent learning outcomes and environments that children can thrive within. The nursery has been through a recent period of change and this role requires someone who is willing to rise to the challenge and move the strategy of the nursery forward, navigating the setting and team through this change and along the future path, providing confidence to devliver a curriculum that elevates the offering to families. One of the big focuses of the nursery is delivering an exceptational foundation within EYFS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of 40 staff members, ensuring they meet performance targets and maintain high standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment.
  • Staff Development: Support staff training and professional development.
  • Parent Engagement: Foster positive relationships with parents and families.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgets and financial targets related to nursery performance.


Requirements:

  • Level 3 Qualification: The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education.
  • Experience: Previous experience managing a large nursery setting is essential.
  • Passion: A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and education to young children.
