Nursery Manager

Class People, the leading education recruitment agency, are looking for an experienced Nursery Manager for an Ofsted rated outstanding nursery within the Forest of Dean. As Nursery Manager, you will lead a team of practitioners in delivering outstanding provision to children within the setting. The role is full-time all-year round, Monday to Friday, but the nursery can offer flexibility over whether the role works over 4 or 5 days a week. 

As the right person for this job, you will:

• Be a minimum of Level 3 qualified with a relevant childcare qualification, e.g. NVQ, CACHE, etc.
• Have experience working with children aged 0-5 years old, spanning at least 2 years.
• Have managerial experience within a setting and looking for a new opportunity.
• Be a conscientious individual who is honest and trustworthy and happy to manage a group of practitioners.
• Be able to commit to working full-time across either 4 or 5 days a week.
• Be subject to a valid DBS check or have a current DBS certificate that is registered on the update service.
• Be able to reliably commute to the Forest of Dean or willing to relocate for the role.
• Have a good level of physical fitness and passion for the outdoors as the setting boasts 2 acres of land and engages the children in a lot of outdoor play, inclusive of Forest School.
