Early Years TA
  • Location: Pudsey, LS28
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Required Qualification: Level 3 Early Years or equivalent

We are seeking an Early Years Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a vibrant primary school in Pudsey. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a desire to contribute to a supportive and dynamic educational environment.

Day to day of the role:
  • Assist in the delivery of creative and engaging educational activities for early years pupils.
  • Support the classroom teacher in planning and preparation of lessons and materials.
  • Help to create a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive and develop.
  • Observe and record children’s progress, sharing information with teachers and parents.
  • Contribute to the management of pupil behaviour, ensuring a calm and orderly classroom.
  • Participate in school events and activities, providing support where needed.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and staff training sessions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A Level 3 qualification relevant to early years education.
  • Experience working within an early years environment.
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff members.
  • A commitment to inclusive education and child development.
