Nursery Chef

Based in Wanstead, my client, a well-established and reputable nursery is looking to recruit a Nursery Chef to join their friendly, supportive and welcoming team.

Main Duties:

• To ensure all children’s dietary needs are being consistently met.
• To ensure high standard of hygiene, health and safety are maintained.
• Daily cleaning of the kitchen, including the floors, walls and countertops.
• Preparing plates and cutlery for all rooms at mealtimes.
• Collection of dirty dishes from rooms, to wash and put them away accordingly.
• To demonstrate the nursery values in everything you do.
• Check that all kitchen paperwork is fully complete, accurate and up to date.
• Monitor catering standards to maintain the highest levels of practice
• To be passionate regarding nutritious and tasty food.

Qualifications and Experiences:

• Previous experience in catering
• Previous management experience
• A team player with a can-do attitude
• A flexible approach to working
• Experience preparing menus

Location: Wanstead

Salary: £25,000.00 - £26000.00

Hours: 40 hours per week Monday-Friday between the hours of 7.30am - 6.30pm
