Early Years Practitioner / Nursery Practitioner / Nursery Nurse/ assistant andRoom Leader

We are currently looking for two new staff to join our lovely team at our well established and ambitious children's day nursery and preschool in Henley. Due to current expansion of our lovely little nursery, due to demand, we are currently looking to recruit to lovely new team members.

We are also looking for a Early years nursery practitioner, who is friendly with good EYFS knowledge, ideally qualified level 2/3 or above, we could consider someone unqualfied who has experience working with children and who is keen to train and learn. We are also looking for an experienced Room leader to lead our small friendly team in the 2-3's room. We are looking for someone with good leadership skills, great communication who is a team player.

Role and responsibilities include:

  • Working with children to provide high quality care and education
  • To support your Room Leader with any tasks delegated to you and with the overall running of the room. For the Room Leader role you will be in charge of the daily running and a small team of staff within the room.
  • Working closely with your team around you
  • Liaising with parents, helping to support their whole family
  • Ensuring a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children within your area
  • Supporting and maintaining daily routines
  • Providing a high quality, stimulating and inclusive learning environment

For people looking to take on further qualifications, we have the following courses available · NVQ 3 and 4 in Early Years and Childcare · NVQ 3 in Management · Early Years Foundation Degree · Early Years Teacher Status · Paediatric First Aid · Basic Food Hygiene · Safeguarding Children · Behaviour Management · Manual Handling · Health and Safety at Work.

Hours:

Ideally looking for candidates that can work Full time 4 days per week. (with one set day off) Hours are 8-6pm.

Can look at part time hours 2 or 3 full days per week. (8-6pm) or mornings 8-1pm or afternoons 1-6pm.
