Responsibilities:

  • Prioritise the health and safety of children at all times
  • Recognize each child's unique learning stage and provide tailored support using age-appropriate methods
  • Assist with meal times and hygiene routines
  • Maintain constant vigilance to ensure the safety of children
  • Cultivate positive relationships with parents, caregivers, and colleagues through effective communication
  • Aid in maintaining accurate records of children's daily activities, including meals and other pertinent details
  • Take a proactive approach and assist the room leader with tasks and routines

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or obtainable through Randstad)
  • Previous experience working with children
  • Level 2 qualification or equivalent preferred
  • Commitment to safeguarding children
  • Familiarity with health and safety protocols
  • Friendly and welcoming demeanour
  • Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum desirable
  • All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK
