The Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning creative and age-appropriate activities to support children's developmental goals
  • Conduct observations to document each child's progress
  • Assist with children's hygiene routines and mealtimes
  • Ensure a safe and enjoyable environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines
  • Uphold safeguarding protocols
  • Maintain daily diary records for each child
  • Foster relationships with colleagues, children, and families to promote a welcoming environment

The Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS clearance on the update service or willingness to apply through Randstad
  • Previous experience working with children is essential
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and professional demeanour
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum is advantageous
  • All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK
