Job Title: Nursery Assistant

Location: Lydney, Gloucestershire

Salary: Competitive, based on qualifications and experience

Hours: flexible working hours

Qualifications Required: Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the daily care and supervision of children in the nursery
• Supporting the lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities
• Ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children
• Collaborating with parents and guardians to meet the individual needs of each child
• Promoting positive behaviour and social development

Requirements:

• Passion for working with young children
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Understanding of child development and early years education
• Flexibility to work varying shifts
