Job Title: Non-Working Supervisor

My client is a leading organisation specialising in water treatment solutions, dedicated to delivering high-quality projects in the Bournemouth area. Currently, we are seeking a proficient Water Treatment Non-Working Supervisor to oversee our critical projects, ensuring efficiency, safety, and excellence throughout.

Role Overview:

As a Water Treatment Non-Working Supervisor, you will be instrumental in the success of our projects, particularly in the realm of water treatment. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around planning meetings and adapting Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS) to suit the unique requirements of water treatment projects. We are looking for an individual with a strong background in water treatment works, pipe fitting, main laying, and general civil works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead planning meetings to strategize project execution in water treatment facilities.
  • Modify RAMS to align with the specific safety and operational needs of water treatment projects.
  • Provide effective supervision and guidance to the project team, ensuring adherence to protocols and standards.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations at water treatment sites, maintaining efficiency and safety.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved within designated timelines.
  • Uphold strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in water treatment operations.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • SMSTS certification or equivalent
  • Proven expertise in water treatment works, including pipe fitting, main laying, and civil works.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Strong communication abilities to facilitate effective collaboration and problem-solving.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship in water treatment projects.
