About You:

We are seeking an experienced and accomplished Non-Executive Director to join our team and provide valuable insights and guidance as we expand our portfolio of care homes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the care home industry, with specific expertise in owning or operating a care home provider.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic advice and guidance to the executive team based on your extensive experience in the care home sector.
  • Assist in the development and execution of business strategies to optimize operational efficiency and enhance the quality of care provided to residents.
  • Review and evaluate performance metrics and financial reports to ensure the profitability and sustainability of our care home operations.
  • Act as a liaison between the board of directors and management team, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in care home management, and make recommendations for adaptation as necessary.
  • Contribute to the overall growth and success of our group through active participation in board meetings and decision-making processes.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in the care home industry, with significant experience owning or operating care home facilities.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to analyse complex issues and develop innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity and ethics.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to the care home sector in the UK.
  • Availability to commit to regular board meetings and participate in ongoing discussions and decision-making processes.
