Join our team as a Nightshift Hygiene Manager and play a pivotal role in maintaining a high standard of hygiene at a Fresh Produce company. We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead a team of Hygiene Operatives during the night shift, ensuring compliance with hygiene targets, microbiological specifications, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a team of Hygiene Operatives to uphold high standards of cleanliness during the night shift.
- Microbiological Compliance: Ensure microbiological results align with targets and specifications; investigate and address any out-of-specification results.
- Safety and Performance Briefings: Conduct safety and performance briefings at the start of each night shift, taking necessary actions to meet specified requirements.
- Training and Monitoring: Train and monitor hygiene staff, ensuring adherence to company training procedures for all tasks.
- Continuous Improvement: Develop and motivate teams to continuously enhance cleanliness levels and overall performance.
- Collaboration: Foster strong working relationships with other departments and colleagues to drive continuous improvement in site standards.
- Documentation: Document validated processes in a clear and understandable manner consistent with site Quality Management System (QMS).
- Daily Liaison: Communicate daily with production team leaders for cleaning "sign off" and address any related issues. Liaise with maintenance for equipment-related matters and identify opportunities to improve hygiene efficiency.
