Job Title: NICEIC Qualified Supervisor

Location: Dunmow, Essex

Company Overview: My client is a leading electrical services company based in Dunmow, specialising in a comprehensive range of services, including electrical installation condition reports, electrical equipment testing, thermal imaging, emergency lighting, remedial works, electrical installation and projects, rail, and sonic testing. Committed to excellence, they are seeking a skilled NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor to join the team.

Position Overview: As the NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of electrical work within the organisation. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Napit, up to 18th edition regulations, City and Guilds 1 & 2 in electrical installation, and Level 3 Inspection & Testing (2391). Additionally, experience in quantity surveying duties is highly desirable. The role will primarily be based in our Dunmow office, with occasional travel throughout the country required once every 2 or 3 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and ensuring compliance with NICEIC regulations and standards
  • Conducting electrical installation condition reports and equipment testing
  • Providing technical expertise on thermal imaging, emergency lighting, and remedial works
  • Managing and supervising electrical installation projects, including rail and sonic testing
  • Collaborating with the quantity surveying team to ensure accurate costings and budgets
  • Upholding the highest standards of safety and quality in all electrical work

Requirements:

  • NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor status
  • Strong understanding of Napit, up to 18th edition regs, City and Guilds 1 & 2, and Level 3 Inspection & Testing (2391)
  • Proven experience in qualified supervisor duties
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel occasionally throughout the country
