My fantastic client based in Gloucester are currently recruiting for a Network Sales Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis. This role will be field based and predominantly based in the North of England/

Reporting to the Sales & Customer Services Director the successful candidate will be a trusted member of the UK sales with personal responsibility for developing a network of influential prospects through which to promote and justify the environmental/cost benefits of collapsible, reusable and recyclable plastic packaging as a solution for the Circular Economy.

Responsibilities;

-Work collaboratively with local/group marketing and business development resources to define, understand, and segment target markets and applications where reusable and recyclable plastic product and packaging solutions offer a sustainable and cost beneficial solution to the environmental and legislative demands of the developing Circular Economy.

-Research, identify, engage and build relationships with decision makers and influencers within your targeted market/application segment who have the foresight to recognise the future demands and benefits of the circular economy.

-Introduce and position the client as a market leader with the solution design, manufacturing, recycling and reprocessing capability to satisfy their product and/or packaging demands and defragment their journey to the Circular Economy and ultimate closed loop circularity.

-Refine your developing network to identify new business prospects and work collaboratively with local and group marketing and business development resources to present, sell and embed our reduce, reuse, recycle, and repurpose philosophy.

-Develop a pipeline of leads for applications where products and service solutions can deliver the environmental and operating cost benefits of circularity.

-Qualify and convert network leads to a sales opportunity pipeline via the company CRM system and facilitate engagement between the Solution Design Team and stakeholders in your prospect’s organisation.

-Work collaboratively to develop, quote and justify product solutions that deliver the environmental and operating cost benefits associated with circularity and leverage your influential network relationships to convert the tangible opportunities to purchase order commitments.

-Demonstrate the accuracy and detailed understanding of your CRM opportunity pipeline in terms of the probability and timing (month) of quotation to purchase order conversion.

-Personally ensure that the scale and quality of your pipeline is sufficient to meet your targeted invoiced sales expectations and demonstrate a consistently improving quotation to order conversion ratio.

-Leverage your network to improve our knowledge of target markets, applications, and organisations and understand/qualify the reasons why opportunities in your pipeline fail to convert from quotation to purchase order.

-Maintain a clear and concise account of prospect feedback in the company CRM system to enable retrospective analysis of how to grow/revive productive/unproductive relationships.

Candidate Experience;

-Previous sales experience ideally within the packaging sector

-Full UK Driving License

Hours- Monday to Friday

Salary- Up to £60,000 + Bonus Capped 100% salary (by quarter) and 2.5% on new business to new customers (invoices sales) for 13 months from first sale.
