Job: National Sales Manager

Location:St Ives

Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5hr

Salary: Up to £50,000 OTE £62,000 

Recruit Mint is seeking a National Sales Manager to join our esteemed client, specialising in packaging solutions.The role will be remote based however for the first 3months;the ideal candidate will be expected to be office based.A proven track record in senior-level sales isessential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Explore potential new clients, products, and markets through national exhibitions and events.
  • Utilise proactive prospecting techniques such as cold calling and leveraging industry expertise.
  • Convince potential clients to make orders or agree to meetings to discuss packaging requirements.
  • Identify and capitalize on profitable opportunities by understanding client operational savings.
  • Increase the company's involvement in tendered packaging projects.
  • Plan optimized routes for national visits, ensuring efficient scheduling.
  • Organize and participate in meetings, utilizing tools like Outlook, Zoom, Teams, and Calendly.
  • Maintain accurate call logs to ensure the CRM system isup-to-date.
  • Participate in relevant exhibitions and training programs to enhance skills.

Candidate Profile

  • Positive attitude towards work, clients, and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated experience in high-level sales roles, particularly in the retail packaging sector.
  • Highly motivated and capable of working autonomously.
  • Comfortable engaging with company Owners/Directors and esteemed organizations.
