As a strategic thinker, you will be responsible for developing and presenting comprehensive plans that propel sales and market share within the assigned territory.   • Communication: Maintain daily communication with senior management, sales teams, and direct reports.
  • Sales Force Effectiveness: Champion initiatives to improve sales efficiency and manage regional business planning and pipeline.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and present biannual strategic and tactical plans for the cardiovascular portfolio to the healthcare sales leader.
  • Sales & Market Share: Ensure achievement of sales and market share targets for the cardiovascular portfolio.
  • Partnership Development: Collaborate with commercial strategy and business development teams to identify and cultivate partnership opportunities across the healthcare division.
  • Market Expansion: Drive the adoption of new therapies, including establishing key partnerships and identifying key opinion leader (KOL) champions.
  • Pricing Strategy: Review, contribute to, and implement pricing frameworks in line with company strategy and ensure consistent year-on-year price increases.
  • Team Management: Conduct regular field visits, coach team members, assess performance, and conduct annual appraisals for territory managers, including identifying development opportunities.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Submit timely and accurate sales forecasts to senior management and relevant teams.
  • Inventory Management: Manage demonstration product stock, ensuring regular checks and implementing necessary controls.
  • Tender Process: Oversee timely submission of tender documentation and collaborate with relevant managers to ensure a coordinated sales & service approach.
  • Product Development: Liaise with manufacturing partners and champion regional initiatives related to cardiovascular products.
  • Marketing & Launch Support: Provide input and support for marketing activities related to the cardiovascular portfolio, including new product launches.
  • Recruitment: Manage the recruitment process and participate in interviews for new team members.



What you'll need to succeed

  • HND/degree level, ideally in Science or Engineering
  • A strong background in dealing with clients at a high level
  • Working knowledge and experience of sales within the medical field
  • Experience within the Cardiovascular and/or ICU field would be a distinct advantage
  • Experience managing a team
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrable experience of budget/forecasting/financial acumen
  • High level of demonstrable commercial acumen
  • Proven successful sales background with hands-on approach to "lead by example"
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • IT proficient: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
