My client are seeking a dynamic and results-driven National Account Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding key accounts within the poultry and meat industry, driving sales, and contributing to the overall growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities will include:

  • Interface with customers across all aspects of commercial requirements, fostering strong relationships and ensuring effective communication.
  • Identify and capitalise on sales opportunities with both existing and new customers.
  • Provide timely reporting of sales and marketing information, including presentations and administrative tasks.
  • Manage the supply chain from order forecast to delivery, ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead product development initiatives for both existing and new products, including packaging enhancements.

You’ll have the following experience:

  • Proven experience in managing food retailer customer accounts and food manufacturing, with specific expertise in poultry or meat products.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Motivated and tenacious, with a passion for achieving results.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of numeracy.
  • Assertive personality with the ability to negotiate effectively.
  • A genuine passion for the industry and a desire to drive continuous improvement.
  • Educated to A Level standard or equivalent.
