Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and dynamic music lessons to secondary school students.
- Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to explore their musical abilities.
- Plan and coordinate extracurricular music activities, such as choirs, bands, and performances.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the wider school community and participate in departmental initiatives.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Specialism in Music or relevant subject area.
- Proven experience teaching music at secondary level, with a track record of achieving excellent results.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Commitment to promoting the value of music education and enriching the school curriculum.
- Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
