Multiskilled Joiner

Multitask Personnel are working with our award-winning client, a UK renewable energy group, specialising in sustainable energy, including Solar Energy.

We’re working with them to recruit experienced multiskilled joiners/carpenters in the West Yorkshire area, you may be required to travel out of the area.

Purpose of the role:

To work alongside a roofer and electrician installing low carbon technology in customers’ home.

You will be required to strengthen roof timbers in preparation for solar installs, install loft hatches/ladders. Board lofts and complete touch ups and minor repairs internal and external along with the general assistance of the installation.

Requirements for the Role:

• NVQ L2 Carpentry (preferred)
• Experience of working as a Carpenter/Joiner in the building trade either as a Carpenter or as a multi-skilled Carpenter/Joiner
• Maintenance/ Repairs experience (desirable)
• Associated trade skills of basic Rainwater goods, plaster patching & decorating.
• Experience of delivering multi-trade work.
• Good organisational skills
• Experience of keeping jobs on track
• The drive to ensure works are completed quickly and efficiently
• Good IT Skills. Experienced using a PDA/tablet.
• Full driving licence

• As you will be working within Customer’s homes this role requires a DBS check.
