Role: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £42,000 - £45,000 per annum + overtime paid at x 1.5 & x 2.0 + benefits
Hours: 7 shifts on then 7 days off (shifts on are 4 days followed by 3 nights)
Location: Commutable from Stockport, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Wilmslow, Stretford and surrounding areas

A heavy plant manufacturing company who offer challenging and rewarding careers to Engineers are looking for an individual, Multi Skilled Engineer, who wants to be part of an established, loyal and successful team.

Great shift pattern working 7 shifts a week followed by 7 days off. They also offer opportunities to take on further training and complete qualifications as you grow and progress in the role and company.

Responsibilities

Working on a weekly rotation of; Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 6.00am to 6.30pm and Sunday to Tuesday, 6.00pm to 6.30am

Reporting into the Maintenance Team Leader and Engineering Manager, you will be an experienced multi skilled maintenance engineer, with experience working in a production environment. You’ll have high standards for health & safety and a passion for continuous improvement.

Working across a range of work including belts, bearings, motors, sensors, gears, relays, PLC's, pumps, drives, 3 phase, chains, hydraulics, pneumatics etc.
Help support continuous improvements to machinery, planned shutdowns
You will be given a company mobile phone to access maintenance system app, used to help you access outstanding jobs, pass on information such as completed jobs, troubles encountered and uploading/downloading diagrams etc.

Requirements

• Apprentice-trained in a mechanical discipline
• Strong knowledge of maintenance experience and diagnostics of hydraulic/pneumatic/electrical control systems
• Completed an Electrical formal training course
• NVQ 3 or equivalent
• IT skills - working knowledge of MS Word, Excel & Outlook
• Strong communication skills
• Good organisation skills
• Awareness of IOSH is desirable but not essential
