The salary for this role is up to £50,000 (plus shift premium, overtime, and bonus), depending on your skills and experience.

In this role, you will contribute in the following ways:

  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship.
  • Assist in equipment failure analysis.
  • Perform tasks in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and specifications, utilising various tools, measuring, and testing instruments.
  • Provide feedback for continuous improvement in the Preventive Maintenance system.
  • Ensure all process documents and quality procedures are up-to-date and serve as a resource to assist others.
  • Identify and address issues to minimise cost and maintain quality standards.
  • Demonstrate full proficiency in skilled activities relevant to the role's responsibilities.
  • Maintain effective communication with the assigned team and other support teams.
  • Provide support for both electrical and mechanical activities.

To excel in this role, you should possess the following:

  • Completion of a recognised Apprenticeship with an electrical/mechatronic bias.
  • Thorough understanding of maintenance Safe Systems of Work, including Lock Out Tag Out procedures.
  • Previous experience in maintaining CNC machines is essential.
  • Experience in PLC diagnostics and troubleshooting.
