Your new company is a market leader in the UK within recycling/renewable energy with many sites across the UK.
Your new role
Your new role is a multi-skilled maintenance engineer on site, to ensure all machinery is running efficiently while minimising downtime. The role is very varied, working on a range of mechanical / electrical equipment across the site, maintaining all equipment through planned maintenance and reactive breakdowns.
You will have H+S standards at the forefront of all work, delivering to a high standard.
The site operates a 24/7 operation, and so this role operates around a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, working blocks of 4 days and then 4 nights of 12-hour shifts.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need a good background in engineering, ideally apprentice trained holding an HNC / NVQ or similar qualification
Experience working within the chemical, renewables, FMCG or oil/gas industry
Experience with ATEX and working within a hazardous environment is a real benefit to this position
You will have a good understanding of maintenance processes and activities.
Knowledge of maintenance management systems.
