Location: Enfield
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
Working Hours: Monday to Friday between 9am - 5.30pm

First Military Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Multi-skilled Land Maintenance Operative to work on a variety of projects across London. This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to join an established yet expanding business with an excellent opportunity of career advancement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Keeping the site grounds clean and tidy
  • Cutting grass / hedges that over grow onto the public highway
  • Erection of Heras fencing and arrangement of concrete stop blocks.
  • Ensuring sites are secure to insurance requirements which may involve fi ng CCTV systems and subsequent monitoring, intruder alarms, security lighting and fire detection systems.
  • Liaising with other departments within the business, e.g. – providing access to sites when necessary
  • Head office security cover (Open up the office, turn on lights / equipment, supervise the door in the morning and evening; check all lights are turned off, windows closed & equipment (e.g., air conditioning units) turned off, lock up and secure the office
  • On call for Head Office - Secom (Burglar Alarm) and ADT (Fire) alarm


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Multi disciplined experience (electrical, plumbing, landscaping) would be advantageous
  • Experience of working in a multi disciplined role
  • Excellent time keeping skills
  • Initiative to work on your own and within a team
