We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Carpenter with a background within other trades to work for a property maintenance company based in North Cambridge.

The person coming into the role would be providing external and internal property maintenance for a range of commercial and residential properties managed by the company.

Typical duties would include:

  • Carrying out all aspects of property maintenance - Carpentry focused
  • Carrying out risk assessments to ensure safe working practises in line with Health & Safety Legislations.
  • Liaising with tenants and landlords to provide updates on when works are being carried out where required.
  • Maintaining company van and equipment

The successful candidates:

  • NVQ Qualification in Carpentry
  • Previous carpentry experience
  • Demonstratable experience working within repairs and maintenance
  • Previous experience working in domestic and commercial properties
  • A full, clean driving license

It would be beneficial but isn’t essential if the successful candidate was trained within fire door set installations. Training will provided if it’s not something you’ve previously completed.
