Randstad Construction & Property are working on behalf of a National Facilities Management company to find an experienced and collaborative Multi Skilled Engineer to join their team covering Glasgow. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out across different sites.

Location: Glasgow (Mobile)

Salary: Competitive (up to £44,000 depending on experience)

Employment type: Full-time, permanent, Monday-Friday

An average day will include the following:

  • Daily calls with CM to discuss ongoing issues and planned works
  • Site audit visits and actions from visits
  • Site liaison visits to meet customer management to discuss and resolve local site issues
  • Overseeing planned PPM / Compliance works
  • Overseeing planned small works projects
  • Managing the issuing of compliance documentation and ongoing review of documentation
  • Sub-contractor liaison and review
  • Self-delivered work performance review
  • Small works projects surveys

An ideal candidate will have:

  • We are looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer preferably qualified at a City & Guilds level in one of the
  • following disciplines and a basic working knowledge of the others.
  • Electrical Installations
  • HVAC
  • Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
  • Commercial Gas

An ideal candidate will be:

  • The ideal candidate will need to be customer focused with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Health & Safety Legislation and building Statutory Compliance.
  • You will be required to carry tools and equipment
  • Comfortable working from heights, including being able to ascend/descend vertical access equipment.
