Job Title: Chartered Quantity Surveyor MRICS

Location: Birmingham, United Kingdom

Salary: £55,000-£65,000

Position Overview: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of construction projects by ensuring accurate cost management, contract administration, and financial control. You will be part of a collaborative team working on diverse and exciting projects that contribute to the growth and success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting cost estimates and preparing tender documents
  • Managing and reviewing project budgets
  • Evaluating and negotiating subcontractor agreements
  • Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders
  • Monitoring and controlling project costs throughout the construction process.
  • Producing financial reports and forecasts

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts and regulations
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in relevant software and tools

Salary Range: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
