These guys are a world leading, international engineering company that are on the hunt for a Mould Fitter and Tester to join their expanding team!

You will be ensuring that moulds, pumps, and tooling are built and tested to this organisations' standards and customer requirements.

Job Description:

• Fitting and assembly working off engineering drawings.
• Using hand tools to fit and assemble components.
• Using Pillar drills, deburring tools and grinding wheels where necessary.
• Drilling and tapping of components where necessary.
• Read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Carry out test - pre checks both mechanical and electrical.
• Test and set COS moulds & pumps in accordance with test schedules.
• Complete mould/pumps test reports and liaise with DO for sample inspection
• Ensure all documentation is correctly updated, referenced and stored for easy reference.
• Maintain test rig, lead pot composition and levels, keep tools in a clean and tidy manner.

What skills you should possess:

• Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings, geometric tolerancing and specs.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Competence in the use of XRF Analyzer for material composition.
