Mould Fitter & Mould Tester

Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Mould Fitter & Mould Tester to join our client's inclusive and successful team. This full-time manufacturing role is based in Gloucester and offers an attractive salary and benefits package.

As a Mould Fitter & Mould Tester, you will ensure that Moulds, Pumps and tooling are built and tested to TBS standards and customer requirements.

As Mould Fitter & Mould Tester here are some of the things you could expect to do day to day:

• Use hand tools to fit and assemble components
• Use Pillar drills, deburring tools and grinding wheels where necessary
• Read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings
• Liaise with team leader – moulds & tooling to test Moulds & Pumps
• Carry out test – pre-check pre-checks both mechanical and electric

• Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings, geometric tolerancing and specs.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Ability to react positively and calmly with sudden and unexpected changes in demand.
• Capable of working accurately, calmly and effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines

Skilled trade workers who have worked as general machinist, conventional machinist, tool maker, tool repair technician, tooling technician, mechanical fitter, mechanical assembler, pump maintainer will have relevant skills for this role.
