Job Title: Motor Vehicle Technician

Salary: 2 Options

Option 1 - £17 per hour + £150 monthly bonus = £37,160

Option 2 - £18 per hour with no bonus = £37,440

Location: North Shields, NE29 7TE

Full Time and Permanent - Monday to Friday - 40 hours a week - 8.30am-5.00pm (30 minutes unpaid lunch)

Our client is a well respected independent garage.

They are now actively looking to recruit for a qualified Motor Vehicle Technician / Mechanic for their garage in North Shields Role is only working Monday to Friday, so no weekends.

As a qualified Vehicle Technician you will be at the very heart of our customer experience, keeping them on the road so they can get safely from A to B and taking great pride in a job well done.

Working with a talented team, you’ll repair, service and care for all kinds of vehicles - identifying faults, making improvements, keeping accurate records and meet demanding quality and safety standards. Working to MOT and manufacturer standards, you’ll focus on delivering customer satisfaction and public safety as you minimise costs for the customer.

Requirements:

  • Candidates ideally will be Level 3 Qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance, however our client are happy to consider someone who is Level 2 Qualified and can repair / replaces clutches and Cam belts
  • Previous vehicle technician experience in a busy garage is essential
  • Full and Valid driving licence is essential
