Motor Claims Intervention Handlers

Salary:£24,000 to £27,000 plus bonus.

Days/ Hours: Monday to Friday, Flexibility to work between 8.30am and 6pm, One Saturday per month, between 9am and 12pm.

About:

MPJ Recruitment are currently representing a fast-paced entrepreneurial business who specialise in the motor insurance industry. Our client act within the intervention, Hire and Repair sector of the insurance claims process and their management boast over 40 years experience in the industry.

We are currently looking for Motor Claims Intervention Handlers to join the team and work together with various internal and external stakeholders to set the client up for success.

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals, with a passion for customer service, to join their business and work in a modern office environment located near Birmingham International Airport.

Duties:

What you will be doing:

  • Making outbound calls with the aim of successfully capturing third parties, to achieve commercial goals.
  • Mitigating the cost of your captures by establishing the needs of the third party and following our processes
  • Supporting the follow up process in handling claims and mitigating the claims spend.
  • Ensuring all claims are processed with an eye for potential fraud, exaggeration, and indemnity.
  • Reviewing claims processes and recommending changes. You will also be highlighting missed opportunities, leakage, and areas for improvement.
  • Supporting technical intervention claims matters in respect of questions / escalated customer scenarios and calls/liability referrals etc.
  • Supporting and sharing best practice with the team.

Benefits:

  • 20 days plus UK bank holidays
  • Eligible to participate in a non-contractual, discretionary performance related bonus scheme, with earnings potential up to 15% of base salary (subject to successful completion of probationary period).
