Time Appointments are working alongside a leading insurance broker based in Bristol who are currently recruiting for an experienced Motor Claims Handler to join their team. The successful candidate will become part of a fantastic company who offer great routes of progression and study support to further skills.

The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of Motor Claims Handling, dealing with the full cycle of claims from instruction through to settlement. You will advise and update clients on how best to present their claims and will also assist them with how to negotiate with insurers to achieve the best outcome.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience of handling motor claims from 'cradle to grave’, ideally gained from working for an insurance brokerage
  • Experience of credit hire negotiations and a technical insurance knowledge and understanding including that of, repair, capture, intervention, and third-party
  • A genuine desire to engage in future learning opportunities and continuous professional development
  • Strong customer service, and communication skills both written and verbal
  • A proactive approach and enthusiastic attitude
