John Williams Recruitment have partnered with the UK's largest independent loss adjusting and claims solutions group, with an award-winning reputation for innovation and high-quality technical loss adjusting and claims-related services who are on the lookout for a Motor Claims Handler to join their road traffic accident (RTA) team in Whiteley. 

As the RTA Motor Claims Handler, you will be responsible for day-to-day tasks, including claims handling and management, communication with stakeholders, and insurance claims processing. You will be the first point of contact for many of their clients and customers. providing first class customer service to their customers, clients, and colleagues, ensuring client specific service level criteria is met.

The successful Motor Claims Handler will need to demonstrate a commitment to innovation and a determination to provide a market leading service and product.

Key Skills:
  • 2 years’ experience of handling RTA claims including liability dispute and negotiating credit hire settlements
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of technical quality and service delivery
  • Basic knowledge of RTA motor related claims and principles
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly and concisely, both
  • oral and written, including an excellent telephone manner
  • Good degree of IT competency and literacy
  • Good organisation and time management skills with experience of diary management
  • Demonstrate personal and professional integrity and lead by example
  • Ability to work and contribute positively as part of a team and in isolation
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure, adhering to deadlines and service standards
  • Ability to use initiative and have a positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • High attention to detail and accuracy of information
