Due to continued growth, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mortgage and Protection Administrator to join one of our highly successful financial services businesses based in Middlesbrough.

As a Mortgage and Protection Administrator, you will be involved in supporting the team of advisers with day to day duties from submission to completion. If you thrive in a varied and busy administrative role, which is customer focused, this could be the position you’ve been waiting for.

This is an office based role within a family friendly team. The salary of £21,000 to £26,000 if negotiable depending on experience and ability

Duties to include

  • Process new business applications
  • Submit mortgage / protection business to Concert Hub for compliance purposes.
  • First point of contact with clients throughout their mortgage and protection journey
  • Responsible for contacting lenders, providers, and solicitors for regular updates until completion
  • Maintain our CRM (SENRO) to make sure all information is accurate and up to date
  • Responsible for handling mortgage and protection Pipeline and attending weekly meetings with Advisers with updates
  • Monitor Concert Hub submissions to ensure it is done in required time
  • Dealing with supporting documents for mortgage applications
  • Issue protection policies
  • Scan and storing client’s data electronically
  • Answering the telephone, answering queries, referring when required
  • Book appointments for new and existing clients

Industry qualifications are ideal but not needed, however mortgage and protection industry experience is essential and a minimum of 2 years strong administrative experience is essential

  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and manage client relationships
  • Excellent time management and planning skills
  • Conscientious and organised with a strong attention to detail
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic about providing an excellent service
  • Handle confidential information in a professional and discreet manner.
  • A 'people person’ with a strong work ethic.
  • A willingness to change and adapt in an evolving environment.
  • Work as part of a team
  • Experience with Microsoft Office - specifically Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - assertive, efficient, positive, and approachable
  • Ability to work to set deadlines
