Mortgage Advisor

Chance to join a growing mortgage brokerage on an employed basis, utilising a strong pipeline of leads from both the brokerage and an estate agency

• Job Title/Location: Mortgage Advisor, Chichester
• Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 with realistic Year 1 OTE of £45,000 - £50,000
• Office/WFH: Mainly office based with flex to WFH 1 day per week
• Requirements: Mortgage broking/advising background, preferably within an estate agency
• Role Snapshot: Providing comprehensive mortgage advice to a diverse range of clients, building relationships with the estate agency team whilst preparing and submitting applications

The Company: You will be working for a long-established Mortgage Broker who has a respected reputation in the market and a great relationship with one particular estate agency, producing an extremely healthy pipeline.

The Role: As a Mortgage Advisor you will work closely with an established Estate Agency team to help customers purchase their dream home whilst taking care of all their mortgage and protection needs. Key responsibilities include:

• Building relationships with the Estate Agency team through training and support
• Assess clients’ financial circumstances to determine suitable mortgage products.
• Liaise with lenders, estate agents, and solicitors to ensure smooth transactions.
• Prepare and submit detailed mortgage applications on behalf of clients.
• Offer guidance on related protection products such as life and home insurance.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, building and maintaining long-term client relationships.

Skills / Experience Required: For this Mortgage Advisor role, our client is looking for proven experience as a CeMAP Qualified Mortgage Advisor, preferably within an estate agency setting and a strong track record in generating new sales and following through to completion.

Additional Information: The salary for this Mortgage Advisor role is £25,000 - £30,000 with realistic Year 1 OTE of £45,000 - £50,000 plus free car parking (permit provided). There is the flex to WFH 1 day per week and you may possibly need to work 1 Saturday per month, although this is open to discussion.
