A well-known estate agency requires an experienced mortgage broker or mortgage adviser to offer mortgage and protection advice working from a busy office with a market leading estate agency in the Luton area dealing with mortgages up to £500k. Dealing with an average property value of £150k, where the mortgage and protection broker should bank £130k - £150k giving an earnings potential of £50,000 - £75,000 plus.

Remuneration:

£24,000 - £28,000 basic, plus £3,000 car or car allowance, financial guarantees to £45,000 for 4 months, pension, DIS, OTE £50,000 year 1, £70,000 year 2

Main Duties:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced fully CeMAP qualified (or equivalent) mortgage broker or mortgage adviser to join one of the best-known estate agency brands in the UK, working from a very busy office in Luton.

Our client is offering the successful applicant to deal with 10 - 12 first appointments per week, where you will be expected to write 2 - 3 mortgage. As an experienced mortgage broker or mortgage adviser in Luton you will deal with an average case size of over £2,000 providing minimum commission of £200 per case, rising to over £500 per case.

The busy branch in Luton requires a proactive mortgage broker or mortgage adviser to work alongside a financial services focused branch manager and estate agency team, receive new mortgage leads daily, as well as having full access to the existing client base, where you will be able to offer a remortgage service.

Key Skills:

As you will be the sole mortgage broker or mortgage adviser working within the busy financial focused Luton branch, an excellent knowledge of mortgages and the various products is essential along with the CeMAP qualification (or equivalent).

Applications will be considered from individuals from a tied, Independent, or banking mortgage environment if they can show a good track record in mortgage sales, if the CeMAP, CF6 or MAQ qualification along with CAS has been attained.

Excellent communication skills, with a client credit history, no criminal convictions and a full UK driving licence.
