Are you a Mortgage & Protection Adviser looking for a firm that will support you?

We are recruiting a mortgage and protection adviser to join a well-established and successful brokerage in the Chislehurst area.

The firm puts its clients at its heart, ensuring top quality advice and the best customer outcomes. They also support their brokers to give you the ability to offer outstanding service, as every adviser is offered full admin support.

Through the excellent reputation and multiple introducers that the firm works with there is a constant supply of leads coming in to ensure you are repeatedly exceeding expectations.

This is a hybrid role and you will be expected to work at least 2 days from the office.

Responsibilities:

Mortgage Advice:

  • Utilize leads provided to establish contact with assigned clients
  • conduct thorough assessments of their financial situations, goals, and mortgage needs.
  • Research and analyse various mortgage products and options available in the market to tailor recommendations based on clients' requirements.
  • Provide expert advice on mortgage options, interest rates, terms, and repayment plans, ensuring clients have a clear understanding of each option.
  • Present mortgage offers to clients, explaining the benefits, risks, and suitability of each option.
  • Stay updated with industry regulations and mortgage market trends to provide clients with relevant and up-to-date advice.

Protection Advice:

  • Assess clients' protection needs by understanding their financial obligations, family circumstances, and future goals.
  • Recommend appropriate protection products such as life insurance, critical illness cover, income protection, and buildings and contents insurance.
  • Clearly explain the features, benefits, and exclusions of protection products to clients, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of the coverage provided.

Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with assigned clients, providing personalized and exceptional service to meet their needs.
  • Conduct regular reviews with clients to reassess their mortgage and protection requirements and offer suitable advice accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, documenting all interactions and advice provided.
  • Pro actively engage with clients through various channels to enhance the client experience and foster long-term relationships.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Adhere to all relevant regulatory requirements, including data protection and anti-money laundering regulations.
  • Ensure accurate completion of client documentation, maintaining meticulous records of all transactions and advice provided.
  • Follow internal policies and procedures to maintain the highest professional standards and ensure compliance.
