Monitoring Centre Shift Supervisor required in Kent

We are currently urgently seeking a Centre Shift Supervisor for a busy Telecare company based in Kent. We are offering a rota of 2 days on 7am-7pm 2 nights 7pm-7am and for days/nights off.

This is a 24/7, 365 days a year service providing support to vulnerable adult who live independently.

Duties

• You will be supervising a team of 6 control centre operators in the team so management experience is essential.
• It will be your responsibility to ensure all incoming calls to the Council's Out-of-Hours telephone services are answered in accordance with all procedures making sure Operators make appropriate records of each call and action taken.
• You will be required to undertake administrative duties in relation to the operation of the CCTV Partnership including managing data basis computerised systems and dealing with statistical data to support cost effective service delivery.
• You must also ensure all daily checks to establish that all cameras and recorders are working correctly ensuring effective surveillance in accordance with codes of practice and procedures.
• You will be expected to be able to use your expertise and deputise for the Head of Operations to enable the management and continual improvement of the team.

The successful candidate will need to have a SIA licence, have experience working within a telecare environment as well as working with the vulnerable.
