Modern Foreign Language (MFL) Teacher required for Maternity Cover

Location: Stockport

Contract Type: Maternity Cover Contract with potential for Permanent

Salary: £150 - £190 per day (Depending on Experience)

Are you a passionate and qualified Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) teacher seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity? Our vibrant secondary school in Stockport is looking for a dedicated MFL teacher to join our team. This role is full-time and involves teaching, planning and preparing French and Spanish up to KS4. The school are looking for an MFL teacher to start with immediate effect. The school are looking for someone who holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the Uk.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Teaching: Deliver engaging and effective MFL lessons to secondary school students, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
  2. Planning and Preparation: Develop well-structured and creative lesson plans, tailored to the needs of the students and aligned with the curriculum.
  3. Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, effectively managing student behavior and fostering a love for languages.
  4. Assessment: Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  5. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the overall development of the MFL department and school community.
