We are now looking for an experienced Mobile Field Service Engineer to join our team based in the Ayrshire area!

Mobile Field Service Engineer - The Role

Our field-based engineers are our first line of defence ensuring the proper installation, maintenance and repair of equipment working to the highest standards, meeting our customers’ needs.

Responsibilities;

• Service and repair on various different types of machinery.
• Rebuilds and testing etc. of Forklifts and various types of Heavy Fleet Machinery.
• Ensuring maximum availability of products, by means of scheduled annual maintenance.
• Completion of service reports by documentation of products serviced, parts fitted, site visits and maintaining van stock levels.

Mobile Field Service Engineer - What we need from you:

• Strong proven track record in Field Service
• Previous experience with either Materials Handling, Plant-hire operations
• Used to a fast-moving service schedule
• Must have previous experience in on-site service environments
• Previous experience with hand tools & testing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to think quickly with problem-solving skills
• Ability to interact successfully with customers at all levels
• Team player
• Must be able to read, write and speak good English

We would also happily accept candidates with the following experience: HGV, Buses or Agricultural Engineers.
