Job Title: Mobile Air Conditioning Installation Engineer

Randstad Construction, Property & Engineering are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Air Conditioning Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems for commercial and industrial clients. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Package includes:

• Competitive salary between £38,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
• Van and fuel card supplied
• Core hours Monday to Friday (40 hour week)

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Conduct site assessments to determine the appropriate installation and recommend improvements for energy efficiency.
• Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise during client consultations.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with air conditioning systems, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in air conditioning systems.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer, with a solid understanding of air conditioning systems and their operation - a City & Guilds qualification to accompany with F Gas Cat 1
• Knowledge of refrigeration principles and practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical clients
• A commitment to safety and adherence to regulations
• A valid driver's licence and a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
