Job Requirements of this Minibus Driver job in Cradley Heath

  • Proven experience in manoeuvring minibuses
  • Solid understanding of basic vehicle safety protocols
  • Specialised background in driving minibuses within a school setting

Qualifications or Certificates:

  • Valid category D1 driving licence with no penalty points
  • Completed Enhanced DBS check
  • Previous experience in driving minibuses, particularly within a school environment

Brief Overview of the Role:

  • Age Group: Secondary School-aged children
  • Length of Bookings: Temp-to-Perm Vacancy. Commitment required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manoeuvre minibuses safely to transport students to and from school or related activities
  • Maintain precise administrative records related to vehicle usage and scheduling
  • Communicate effectively with parents, students, colleagues, and the wider community
  • Remain flexible to manage assigned shifts effectively
  • Uphold confidentiality and adhere to safeguarding protocols

Desired Qualities:

  • Eagerness for further training opportunities
  • Willingness to engage in school-provided training, including relevant MAPA training
  • Previous experience in Advanced Driver Training preferred
  • Self-motivation, adaptability, and dedication to maintaining confidentiality
