Middle / High School English Teacher

One of our clients based in Barranquilla, Colombia, (Northern Colombia on the Caribbean coastline, an established International Private School is looking to appoint a qualified High School / Secondary English Teacher to start employment at the end of July 2024 (School year runs from 22nd July to 21st June over 10.5 months).

The private coeducational international school educates the local and international expat community from Early Years up to Secondary. You will be expected to carry out teacher activities (plan, execute, coordinate and assess) within the English Department of the High School, facilitating and guiding the students in the process of formation and learning, through the implementation of a predetermined curriculum, with the purpose of contributing with the development of knowledge, abilities and skills of the student to comply with the institutional education project.

Requirements

USA / Canadian / UK / Irish / AUS / NZ qualified (Visa requirement)

Bachelor’s degree in High School / Secondary English related

Recent Middle / High School / Secondary English teaching experience

Package details

Monthly salary: 2,500 USD - 3,000 USD (NET - 2,350 USD to 2,850 USD)

(Tax approximately - 150 USD per month)

A yearly bonus of 1,250 USD

Initial hotel accommodation and then assistance to find

(Cost of a 1-2-bedroom apartment near the school each month - Approx 500 USD including service fees, etc.)
