Job Opportunity: Microbiology Biomedical Scientist (Band 6)
Type: Locum Contract

Location: Royal Glamorgan Hospital, South Wales
Days of Week: Mon-Sun (Rota)
Start/End Time: 8:30 am - 12:00 am (Rota)

Job Description:

  • HCPC Registration Required
  • Perform microbiological analysis and diagnostic tests
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Provide technical advice and support to laboratory staff
  • Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards and protocols.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new laboratory procedures and protocols
  • Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to health and safety regulations
  • Extended working days, including weekends. Participation in overnight on-call for urgent specimens
