Russell Taylor Group has number of Microbiology roles in the Liverpool region, these range from more junior levels to senior positions. Our client is looking for individuals with previous micro industrial experience for all levels of roles.

Responsibilities
• Provide microbiology support to the scientific testing divisions
• Ensure that you work in line with testing and ISO standards including ISO 17025, 13485 and 9001.
• Support and establish new relationships with academic organisations in microbiology for a variety of sectors.
• Be involved with a number of micro related projects for clients ensuring that you are developing, validating, and documenting.
• Complete reports that are required to the agreed timescales.
• Help to create strategic planning for innovation divisions.
• Conduct and complete all client-based projects and reports within agreed timescales and to a high-quality standard.

The Person

• Ideally educated to degree level in the microbiology related field.
• Previous industry-based experience within microbiology working to ideally ISO 17025 or ISO 13485.
• Strong theoretical knowledge of microbiology and ability to develop relationships using this theoretical knowledge.
• Excellent research-based skills
• Previous experience of data analysis, design of experiments and validation and verification.
• Outstanding attention to detail.
• Excellent written and oral communication and experience of reading literature in the field.
• Project management experience and understanding of product development would be useful.
