Job Type: Full-time, asap start. Permanent contract

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated MFL Teacher to join our dynamic language department. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and capable of delivering engaging lessons in various modern foreign languages to students of diverse abilities. Preferably French and Spanish.

Day to Day of the Role:

Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality language lessons that engage and challenge students.

Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.

Foster a love for languages and cultures in students, encouraging them to become global citizens.

Utilise a range of teaching methods and resources to meet the needs of all learners.

Maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning.

Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and whole-school training events.

Contribute to the development and implementation of the school’s language curriculum.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

A degree in a relevant language or a related subject.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

Proficiency in at least one foreign language (e.g., French, Spanish, German).

Experience in teaching MFL in a secondary school setting is desirable.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organisational and classroom management skills.
