Role and Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and interactive MFL lessons that develop students' proficiency in one or more languages, including but not limited to French, Spanish, German, or Mandarin.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel encouraged to participate and take risks in their language learning.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources, including technology, authentic materials, and real-world contexts, to enhance language acquisition and cultural understanding.
• Assess student progress regularly using formative and summative assessment methods and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate language learning across the curriculum and promote cross-cultural understanding.
• Participate in extracurricular activities, such as language clubs, cultural events, and international exchanges, to enrich the language learning experience for students.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Modern Foreign Languages, Linguistics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
• Proficiency in one or more languages, with a strong command of grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
• Passion for language teaching and a commitment to fostering cultural competence and global awareness.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students.
