Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher - Permanent Position

An ‘GOOD’ Secondary School in the heart of Kent is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of MFL for a September 2024 start. This is a permanent, full-time contract. The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious MFL Teacher who is keen to add value to an expanding MFL Department. The school is renowned for its supportive Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and impressive progress results across all subjects. The school invests in innovative teaching practices and provides training for both existing and new staff.

Role Overview:

  • Inspire and motivate the younger generation through engaging MFL lessons.
  • Collaborate with a team of fantastic MFL Teachers.
  • TLR opportunities available, including KS3 Coordinator and Pastoral Responsibilities.
  • Early Career MFL Teachers (ECTs) will benefit from bespoke ECT induction and mentorship.

Person Specification:

  • UK QTS or in the process of gaining it.
  • Strong academic background (Degree, A Levels, and GCSEs).
  • Meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a ‘Good or Outstanding’ level.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a large team of MFL Teachers.
