MFL ECT

We are seeking a passionate and motivated MFL ECT to join our vibrant and dynamic language department at our secondary school in Wolverhampton.

*** Contract: Permanent, September 2024
*** Salary: MPS1 - £30,000
*** Location: Wolverhampton

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality French and Spanish lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will work closely with other members of the MFL department to create engaging and challenging schemes of work and will be committed to ensuring that all students make excellent progress.

As an MFL ECT, you will be supported by an experienced and dedicated mentor, who will work with you to develop your teaching skills and help you to become an outstanding practitioner. You will also have access to a wide range of professional development opportunities, including regular training sessions and workshops.

To be considered for this role, you should have:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A degree in French or Spanish (or a related subject)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to providing the highest quality teaching and learning experience for all students
  • A passion for MFL and a desire to inspire and motivate students
