Salary: £90,000 per annum

Job Type/Hours: Full-time, permanent

Merchandising Manager – The Role:

As the Merchandising Manager, you will play a pivotal role in optimising product assortments, maximising sales, and enhancing profitability. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will execute strategic plans that resonate with their target audience. Your expertise in operational efficiency, team leadership, and data-driven decision-making will be essential in driving our client’s business forward.

Merchandising Manager – Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to achieve sales and margin targets

- Analyse sales performance, market trends, and customer preferences to optimise product assortments

- Collaborate cross-functionally with buying, marketing, and operations teams to align merchandising efforts with overall business goals

- Utilise data-driven insights to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and minimise stockouts

- Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to identify opportunities and threats

Continuously evaluate processes and systems to streamline operations and enhance efficiency

Merchandising Manager – You:

- Proven experience in merchandising management within the retail industry

- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making

- Excellent leadership abilities with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams

- Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute merchandising strategies that drive business results

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments

- Proficiency in retail analytics tools and Microsoft Excel

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Merchandising, or a related field
