Medical Sales Representative - Critical Care / High Dependency CONSUMABLES.

  • Southern England, M4 south running under M25 - Coast to coast. Kent Surrey, Sussex, Berks, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Bristol, Devon, Dorset, Cornwall - to be based centrally / good motorway access.
  • Negotiable Basic to £55k with 26k Commission (Uncapped with accelerators for over performance - additional £13k very realistic), Car allowance and exceptional benefits.
  • Additional flexibility available on base for candidates already selling respiratory consumables into ITU / CCU

Product Portfolio -

High volume, high SKU consumables that are used in critical care areas for - Airway Management, Intubation, Resuscitation, Monitoring and Medication Delivery.

Role -

The Medical Sales Professional will sell a range of consumable products that assist with Airway Management, Intubation, Resuscitation, Monitoring and Medication Delivery into the CCU, ITU and HDU environments. The focus of the role currently is effective sales of the consumable range into NHS via the procurement route (establishing and manging long term commercial contracts with procurement and supply chain) As such there is a requirement for sales excellence using health economic arguments and the ability to build compelling packaged solutions across a large SKU consumable range. The role demands an exceptional negotiator who can navigate the NHS buying process and ensure revenue and margin are maintained from territory. A mixture of new business and account management this is a home based, targeted, sales role that requires extensive travel and potentially occasional nights away from home…

Applicant -

While it would be ideal that candidates for this role will have previously sold respiratory based consumable products into the high dependency environment and have contacts in HDU, ITU, CCU….

IT IS FAR MORE IMPORTANT THAT THEY HAVE EXPERIENCE BUILDING VALUE PROPOSITIONS WITH AND SELLING TO PROCUREMENT. A STRONG RECORD OF RESULTS IN HIGH VOLUME LOW INDIVIDUAL VALUE CONSUMABLE PRODUCTS TO THE NHS.

WE NEED CANDIDATES THAT CAN OFFER BUNDLED VALUE BASED SOLUTIONS AND ARE ABLE TO IDENTIFY COMMERCIAL SALES OPPORRUNITIES WITHIN THE NHS.

As such candidates will be considered from and medical sales environment (product not pharma) where they can demonstrate a strong track record of CONSUMABLE focused procurement-based sales success.
