Medical Laboratory Assistant MLA

Reed Scientific are working with a well known biomedical equipment company, who are looking for a temporary medical laboratory assistant (MLA) to join their company, assisting in an NHS haematology lab. This is a full time role with a decent pay by hour, and will last for a minimum of 3 months. 

You will gain some fantastic experience in the world of biomedical science, and will become acclimated with the haematology section in the hospital. There can be training on offer for certain staining, and this is a full time role on standard hours, Monday to Friday, 9 - 5. 

If you are looking for experience in biomedical science, this vacancy will offer invaluable knowledge and be an ideal role for any junior scientist or graduate of a life science degree. 

To be suitable for this role, you will have a life science degree, preferably in Biomedical Science, but other closely related subjects will be considered. As this is a temporary role, you will need to be able to commute daily to the laboratory. You will also need to be on a one week or less notice, as the client is looking for someone to start from April 1st. You will need full eligibility to work full time hours. 

Candidate must be able to get to the site daily, without the need to relocate.
